What do you do when you see water leaking through concrete slab or perhaps water gushing out from a basement concrete wall or floor? The quickest and most effective wall is to do an injection with chemical resin.
Applications used
The standard and commonly accepted approach is to do an injection with polyurethane resin (PU resin). For some cases, acrylic gel resin is preferred as the resin is injected to the back of the wall to form a curtain or what we referred to as the curtain injection method. For tunneling construction, injection is widely accepted as the cure to water leakages and to provide a permanent fix.
How we do injection?
Holes are normally drilled into the elements that are leaking and an injection connector or packer is fixed onto the hole to allow connection to the injection pump. A high pressure injection pump is normally used to deliver the resin into the hole thus sealing the finest cracks or annular space in the leaking areas. It is a swift operation and it allows quick turnaround and it minimizes downtime. Areas of application include construction joints, diaphragm wall joint and expansion joint.
